The President and the Executive Board of SICA is pleased to announce the Annual General Body Meeting of SICA on 22nd November 2007 to be held at the The Rain Tree, an ecotel hotel.
The South Indian Culinary Association an active Southern regional constituent of the Indian Federation of Culinary Associations was conceptualised in 1998 and formally launched in 2000, registered under the Societies Act.
In the last eight years we have earned several accolades by successfully organising numerous events under CHEFS (Cuisine Hospitality Education Food Social) cause, created by the World Association of Chefs Societies. Since its inception we have grown steadily and consistently due to the untiring contribution of every culinary professional in this region.
This AGM will be in accordance with the protocol followed by WACS. If you go through the agenda of the one-day conference, you will understand that we are very close to achieving the mission of IFCA and WACS. This conference is open to only the members of SICA, in line with the true protocol of the World Association of Chef Societies. This conference is open to its members absolutely free, thanks to the partners and the whole hearted confirmation of member participation. This will surely be an added feather in SICA's cap as it sets a new tradition in hospitality networking.
Let us come together on the 22nd November 2007 at The Rain Tree to debate, discuss and also to celebrate and felicitate the chefs who have made a mark in the profession.
Please find enclosed the draft schedule of the conference, which will be finalised in a few days time.
With your wholehearted participation we can make this a phenomenal success.
Thanks &Regards Soundararajan P.
